Trilogy Uncensored - March 2019
What a fantastic job everyone did! The script was right on point and hilarious! We laughed throughout the show and totally enjoyed the evening! There certainly are some amazingly talented people here in Trilogy! THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU! Donna and Ed Rivers
What a talented group of people!!! Trilogy Uncensored was thoroughly entertaining and hysterical! Thank you for all of the hard work that went into it!!! Kris Korte
Thank you for an absolutely great and fun evening. The show was great and my husband and I are still talking about it!!! We laughed so much during the entire show. Gabriella Koenen
3 years ago we were begging Craig Ullery to direct another musical. He said "It would take 2 years to put together what I really want to do and make it the best show ever ". We all know you worked your butt off to make it happen, but "what a great show ". Thank you for making us proud. Jim Losher
Funny PLUS Fantastic. We really liked it, thank you – the House of the Rising Sun--song terrific singer and sax player. Jerry Hulsizer
Kudos to all of you on such a fabulous show! It as so much fun and spot on with the humor that comes from living in Trilogy. There is so much talent west of the 303! While you are considering your options for next year’s show, I wonder if you might have enough material to create a “Trilogy Uncensored, Part Deux”. Rhonda Schwartz
My wife Linda and I brought our friends to the play Saturday night and couldn’t believe what we saw. What a classy, classy, talented group of thespians and musicians you all are. Great songs, great skits, great humor. Best Saturday night we’ve spent in ages. You make me proud to be part of this great community. Thanks again for all your hard work. I was one of the lucky ones because I got to see something very special that some of my neighbors took a pass on - their loss. Tom & Linda Machac
Thanks to all trilogy Players for a great night of entertainment and tons of laughs! We loved it! It was clever and must have taken hours and hours to write. You nailed it and we were very impressed. The best ever!!! Denver and Jo Ann Schmadeke
Just to let you know,I have not laughed so much than I did last night ! You all are so talented and I feel so good to live in Trilogy and to be able to enjoy an evening like last night! Thanks!!! Barb P.
Great play! Loved every minute. Hilarious! Sue Strong
Craig, show was terrific. Everything was spot on, lots of laughs, good music and really funny skits. Congratulations on the play you three created and to all the performers that did a great job. Larry and Carol Snyder
This is our second year to attend your production. We LOVED IT! Amazing talent within Trilogy!! Great night of entertainment! We have lived here part time for five years! Martha and Dave Wildeman
What a fabulous performance. Hard to believe we have so many extraordinary talented people in Trilogy. This would of course include the writers, producers, costume people, choreographer, singers, dancers, actors, stage manager, prop people, set, photographers, promotions, Sound and light people and all the rest that participated. We had out of town “seniors” visiting from Chicago and they too loved every minute. Thanks to ALL OF YOU. Carole and Dave Pearsall
"Trilogy Uncensored" was an unexpected treat. Ourselves and the James' thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of your show. The costuming, the choreography, singing, music, musicianship, writing, and acting performances were all wonderful. The wit was on the mark and tastefully done. Until now we'd only had a hint of the talent living in Trilogy, but you put your performing arts talents front and center. It was a refreshing experience. This was our first experience at a Trilogy Players show and we are looking forward to your next one. Bob Matetich
Super production!! Loads of fun and great humor (glad you didn’t hold back). Carleen Watts
Please do version two and ask the residents for ideas. It was wonderful! Sue Doerner
What a fabulous show. We’ve only lived in Trilogy a little over three months and this gave us great insight into what goes on here. Loved every minute of the show. Looking forward to next year. Job well done. Susan Goodman
A great show as always. The sequencing of the videos with the live performance was really done well. The dancers, Janet, Lynn, Rick and the other singers did a great job. Pete June, excellent job. Every year gets better. Jerry Clements
The performance was wonderful. I liked it so much I’m bringing a friend and coming back Saturday evening. I’m missing seeing Vicki Lawrence to get another evening with the Trilogy Players. Just can’t see enough of the Trilogy Players shows. Only wish you would do more!! Your loyal fan, Audrey Hanks
I've been in musicals before so I know the amount of time and effort that goes into a production like this. But it's truly historic when talented folks in our age bracket produce such high-end comedy and musical entertainment. I loved the nuances that only "Trilogians" can appreciate. The only thing missing was a legitimate Broadway Critic who could give it the notoriety it deserves. A job more than well done! Janet McBride
Fabulous show! Great singing, humor, fun. We really enjoyed you poking fun at Trilogy and our lives in general. Very clever writing. The best show yet! Bill and Carole Swick
What an outstanding performance/production last night. I REALLY enjoyed it. I brought two buses from Royal Oaks and the residents loved it. They were proud to hear Royal Oaks mentioned. Anita Mann, you played your real life role at Royal Oaks, it was hilarious. Gotcha Gal, first time seeing you strict and mean - you were great on video and stage. Writers & Directors, get TWO Thumbs up! I LOVED the big screen videos, they were funny and added a professional touch to the production. Lots of laughter from the audience. We can't wait for your next year's production! Nada Kennon
An enthusiastic two thumbs up to everyone - this was absolutely the best musical Trilogy has ever produced. You should all be justly proud of this production. I tried to find Craig afterwards to tell him what a great job he did - a great idea beautifully executed. Everyone around me was laughing as hard as I was. Nailed it! Deb Hunter
I have been to every Trilogy player spring show since it originated. I have watched them improve and evolve during that time but I want to say this show was far and away the best ever! Congratulations to all, especially the writers. Performers, singers and dancers were great and it will be hard to top this production! Thanks for the entertaining evening. Diane Anderson
The Trilogy Players have once again raised the bar! Trilogy Uncensored was hilarious. We haven’t had such a good belly laugh in some time. Absolutely brilliant in design and execution and most importantly outstanding entertainment from our friends and neighbors proving once again what a great community we live in. Keep it up and kudos to everyone involved. Tom Malone
We loved the show and I had to find a kleenex in my purse because mascara was blurring my vision from so much laughter. Great job by everyone. Barb and Dave Wixon
Thanks for another fun Trilogy Players event! It was fun to laugh at ourselves (and others) from so many talented people who also like to have fun. Songs and skits were great and we are looking forward to the next events. Angie and Greg Matusz
We loved the show. Very funny and so very true to life !!! The band was fabulous and the entire cast gave the impression that they thoroughly enjoyed performing. It was also a great fashion show. Wonderful array of different styles of tops!!! It is so great that you all give up so much of your time to entertain and make people happy. Thank you to everyone who was involved. The Barnards
My wife and I really enjoyed the production, it was a great night of entertainment and laughs. All of the members did a marvelous job. Mike Metzge
My husband and I loved every minute of last night’s performance. What impressed us is the creativity and talent within our community! Ladies...you all had fabulous legs!!! All those hours rehearsing your dance routines. Know that we will be attending all your productions and will pass the word to all the “newcomers “ we encounter. Thank you for giving Trilogy a wonderful evening of song, dance, and laughter. Glenda & Tom McNichols
We enjoyed it so much and had the most fun and laughter ever. You all did so well describing our lives here at Trilogy. Right on!! This play was more enjoyable than some that we saw at other theaters here in AZ that were professional performing! We want to thank all of the players for a great time.... we appreciate the time and hard work that was put into it. Linda Scott
We enjoyed every minute of the performance. You guys keep getting better. I know how much effort it takes to put this production on. I will tell everyone I know not to miss it. What talent we have in Trilogy!!! Lucky us. Big Hugs. Shirley and Bob Keaster
We loved the show! Good writing with topical humor, and great singing and dancing. Trey Higgens
What a wonderful show! Great music, choreography, dialog and humor. The group of us that attended haven’t quite met the age requirement to be Trilogy neighbors. But, it’s definitely on the radar for next chapter of life! Thanks for a great evening of fun. Tamara
Craig, last night’s show was the best of all the shows/plays we have seen. Very entertaining, fast moving, great performances. You did a wonderful job. Congratulations. Tom and Jan McCarron
My wife and I attended ‘Trilogy Uncensored’ this evening and enjoyed the performance immensely. I want to compliment you and the entire cast on a job well done. You should be very proud! Bob Quinn
Colleen and I want to say to everyone outstanding job tonight. I heard several people say it was the best one to date. Also thanks for the great plug for the sponsors and mentioning us during the performance to call to list the house for sale. It was very appreciated. You can count on us again next year for a major sponsorship. BREAK A LEG!!!!!!!! Brownie and Colleen
The show was excellent, a lot of fun and a lot of great singers/dancers/comedians, it was very entertaining, we laughed all night long, we think it is one of the best shows so far, we highly recommend it, you will see all that happens in Trilogy, very, very funny. Great job!!!! Congratulations to all the talented performers as well as the musicians, they did an excellent job also!! Martha & Ross Tudisco
What a wonderful show! It was so well done and so much fun. Kudos to all involved. Staging, lighting, slides and videos all top notch. Good luck on the rest of the performances. This will be hard to top. I’m in the Troubadours and it was great to see so many members on stage. I wish we could have been here throughout all of the performances (we are presently at the airport traveling to Salt Lake City to visit family)—I would have loved to join you all! Howard Posner
The show was the best one yet. We thoroughly enjoyed it. Well done Trilogy Players. Marvin and Sandy Betz
Loved, loved the show! Jan Wittmann
It was fun! It was just a delightful evening. Thank you for the hours you are willing to put in to entertain us. The talent and imagination we have in Trilogy is amazing. Dave Ohme
A great night out! What fun making fun of ourselves. If you live in Trilogy you cannot miss it! Love the enthusiasm of the actors. Allan
Beautifully done ... great music, great writing, great evening!! Bill Cushing
A wonderful show. Truly enjoyed it. Deb and Rob Richitelli
Best Bargain in Trilogy. Glad it only took three years to prepare. Please don’t wait another three years to do a Trilogy Uncensored II. Jim Long
It was a highly entertaining evening with a wild variety of music, dance, and video. Congrats to all involved. Don Paisley
Sequel??? Kipp and Kari Hughes
Wow, wow the show was fabulous and you nailed it on every point!!! Totally amazing and we had such a great time! Loved, loved it! Darlene Scott
Congratulations to all! We really enjoyed ourselves and being able to laugh at ourselves. Hopefully some people recognized themselves in some of the portrayals and will correct their actions for the well being of all residents--ie. stop signs, bike lanes, dog poop, No Parking Zones (in case they forgot already). Keep doing shows that make us laugh Trilogy Players! Jan Trella
We needed a good belly laugh and boy did you deliver. Richard Farrah
We went to the Friday night showing and so enjoyed it! Lots of laughing and some awesome talent! Darci Rossiter
Bravo Trilogy Players! We saw this musical Thursday night and it was OUTSTANDING! We've lived in Trilogy for 13 years and the writers and cast did a wonderful job capturing the fun and frolic of living in Trilogy! You owe it to yourself to go see this! You won't be disappointed! Bob Johnson
We went to this play on Wednesday night. It was hilarious! Great performance and very "real" depictions of life here at Trilogy! Debra Osentoski
A great show as always. The sequencing of the videos with the live performance was really done well. The dancers, Janet, Lynn, Rick and the other singers did a great job. Pete June, excellent job. Every year gets better. Jerry Clements
Another wonderful evening with the Trilogy Players! Good to see returning and new players. Keep up the great work. John and Jane Helpap
EXCELLENT!!! Enjoyed the band a lot (especially sax & guitar solos).
This play was so spot on as a spoof of Trilogy. Many new faces and many repeat great faces. Super job from writing to performing. Thank you. What talent there is in Trilogy!!!!!!!!!!!! Paul & Sue Mark
Bench in the Sun - January 2019
The venue at the encore room quite nice and able to move chairs around for good view. I think each player was fabulous at interpreting their characters. I kept thinking Grumpy Old Men with Walter Matthau, Jack Lemmon and Ann Margaret. I believe it was worthy of the professional stage. All 3 were GREAT! Everyone (there were 5 gals and birthday celebrations) was amazed with the amount of lines and delivery. Very much enjoyed it and so did everyone I brought with me. Andrea Dixon
Ron & I enjoyed the play. The setting seemed to work well for the size of the crowd & sound. It just turned out to be a little sad at times – not as “funny” as I thought it would be. However, the acting & lines were done very well. Looking forward to the next show! Ron & Joyce Goergen
We enjoyed it a lot. There were 16 of us and most of us will see your next play also. Linda Parker
We thought the performance was very entertaining and the actors were great! The venue was very user friendly. We have our tickets for Trilogy Uncensored and are looking forward to another great performance! Thank you. Steve and Ruth Mithuen
We loved the venue and having lunch at one of the tables up front was simply delightful. The cranberry and brie flatbread was delicious. Please continue to schedule coming events in the Encore Room. Susan Roemer
Bench in Sun was exactly what I anticipated. A funny, delightful, entertaining play in the perfect venue! Kudos to Bob, Susan and Murray for bringing their characters to life superbly! Also a big congratulations to the Directors and their awesome stage team and support. What an awesome accomplishment to have the opportunity to bring this show to AZBT!!! Joanie Drumwright
I enjoyed the play and the actors' performances were strong and well developed. I really did like the personality of each of the characters. They were very distinct and seemed believable. It was a good character study and peek in to the perils and joys of growing older and living in a senior retirement center. Glad I attended! CC Willson
We thoroughly enjoyed A Bench in the Sun ... delightful story, full of laughs and professionally acted. So much better than we were expecting!!!! The venue was nice, the food was good, the serving staff was extremely attentive and pleasant. It was a lovely afternoon and we will indeed look into going to another Trilogy Players Theatre production soon. Thanks! And good luck to Trilogy Players! Jo Clipperton
Came w/ group of 15 seniors from a senior residence in Surprise. Thought you got the script from us. Show was great, but since the floor is level and the stage not high enough, many of the folks center stage could not see above other patrons heads. Will be speaking with the group ticket folks about it. Thanks for a great performance. Claire Bingham
We enjoyed it because we can relate to the humor! John Rowley
We enjoyed the show and the venue very much. Actors were funny and the sound system was great. We had not been in the Encore/Black Hat Theater before and we thought it was a good place for the play. The choice of food items at ABT was good, and the food was delicious. Looking forward to future Trilogy Players events at the ABT. Angie and Greg Matusz
We enjoyed the show, it was fun and entertaining, so much to remember, the players all did a great job Loretta Baretta
My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed the performance. The actors were wonderful and well suited to their parts. Well done to all involved. Elaine Unsworth
I attended with three friends; a couple and a girlfriend. We enjoyed the show, good humor, excellent acting. The venue is ideal, not too far from Trilogy and lunch and drinks before the show was perfect for us. Thank you for entertaining us. We love the Trilogy Players and already have our tickets for Trilogy Uncensored. Claudine Lippert
We really enjoyed the performance of Bench in the Sun. The acting was scintillating and captivating. The set was so beautiful . Very powerful reflections and really entertaining. Definitely on par with anything we have seen in London, England from where we came from originally. We now live in Canada. We make it a point to come and see the plays on at ABT whenever we come from Canada on holiday. It is the highlight of our trip to Arizona. Thank you for wonderful time. Renu and Geoffrey Woodbridge
“We loved the show! As usual, we enjoyed the amazing talent of Bob, Murry and Susan! What a fun and entertaining evening!” Jane & Dave Folsom
It’s amazing to see the Trilogy Players continue to grow and prosper. Also kudos to everyone involved in putting on a first class production/evening. Well done although with a cast of only three it must have been challenging. Keep up the great work. We have our tickets for the musical in March and are looking forward to it especially since it's back at Liberty High School😎 Tom Malone
Delores and I really enjoyed the show. The cast was very good. Maybe you should have more shows in the Encore Room. Bob was the best! Warren Huebner
I laughed so hard, my face hurt, and I still couldn't stop. That doesn't happen often. The big guy in the pjs has great comic timing. Linda Friedman
We enjoyed the evening and the play. I have told several people that they should go and see the play. I always look forward to the Trilogy Players production and have already bought tickets for the March show. Sue Strecker
Sue & I loved the venue, the food, the service, Craig's piano playing during dinner before the show, and the show, of course. We never want to miss any shows if we can help it. Having said that, a play with only a cast of three presents a huge challenge when the audience is us (old people). Only Mury, Susan, and Bob could pull this off!! The trio was brilliant! We enjoyed it, and can't wait until March. Paul Mark
The Bench in the Sun was fun. There were some memorable lines. We loved the venue. They had good food and excellent service. We will be going back to the Broadway for another event. Looking forward to the next Trilogy Players show. Ellen and Dan McIsaac
It was very cute and clever and got a lot of laughs! They did a great job as they always do. Thanks for a fun night of entertainment!! Jo Ann
I thought the show was very well done and found it very funny. I wasn't sure what to expect of a play with only one set and 3 actors, but it flowed really well and kept a good comedic pace. The 3 actors were, as they usually are, spectacular! Can't wait to see the next performance from this talented group. Bill Conner
Very good show—lots of laughs. Looking forward to Trilogy Uncensored in March. Jan Trella
Bandstand: An Encore! March 2018
It was a smashing adorable musical. Dancing was great and I wanted to get up and join the performers. The solo performer singers sang their hearts out and sounded very much like the original artists, especially Janice Joplin. My husband and I are newcomers to the Vistancia Community and this event truly impressed and endered us to everyone. Glad we attended! Cynthia and Gary Willson
What a great show. Lots of laughs & songs that took us back to being 16 again. If you haven’t seen it, get tickets. It’s a must. Norma & Larry Montague
Another great job by all the cast and production staff. The B-52's closing number was perfect and worthy of a YouTube posting if anyone recorded it. We are looking forward to the next season at this same venue. Richard & Judy Farrah
My group attending thoroughly enjoyed this performance. My goodness, the energy you folks have!!! That was outstanding in every way and all aspects. Sad your Season is over until next year. However, be sure and count me in for next year and all the years thereafter! Audrey Hanks
I can attest, having been brought up with American Bandstand, that your show brought out all those happy 😃 memories! What a delight! I especially liked the commercials, kudos to all! Carole Scully
It was our pleasure! The show was fabulous. – Yvonne Gatlin
I smiled the whole evening. Wonderful job everyone! Amalia Schwerdtmann
We found the performance to be very entertaining. Some great talents and passion for performing was very evident. Kudos to all. – Lenard Sali
Last night, my husband and I saw a wonderful show, “American Bandstand.” It brought make so many memories! The actors were so talented, the costumes were marvelous, and the music made me want to get up on stage and dance with the players! I can’t wait for the next Trilogy Players Show! – Barbara Bregman
Had me tapping my feet and singing along to myself. One of your best! Always amazed at the talent right here in our neighborhood. Thanks! Gina Shore
It was fun! Great job, everyone...especially the vocals! Renee Melton
The singers and dancers were excellent…amazing talent and incredible energy! Thanks to them for the great entertainment. Donna Freeze
It was so fun. I should no longer be amazed by the talent in our community, but the musicals always blow me away. This one was just great. So much talent. And it was obvious you were all having a blast. Deb Hunter
Really enjoyed the play, you folks did an outstanding job, especially putting hair on Dick Clarks head! Wow almost didn’t recognize him. Ray Pelchat
The show was terrific!! Very professional. The acting, singing and dancing were superb. Beautiful costumes and great live band. I felt like dancing in the aisles myself. The venue was great and comfortable.. Being from the Philadelphia area myself it was a great tribute and production. Barbara Bond
Me, my two sisters and two friends attended!! We had a great time singing and moving with the songs. Loved the commercials!! Mindy should be proud! We are all from MN here for winter vacation. Thanks for a great evening. Paulette Zenner
Attended Band Stand the Encore last night. What a hoot. Songs and costumes were great. Thanks for all the hard work you do to entertain us. Dave Ohme
I am at a loss of words to describe last night’s show. It was a superlative performance by a very talented and energetic group of performers, band and the support staff. The venue was superb as well. My wife and I enjoyed the every part of the evening. Please keep up the good work. Vasant & Nancy Acharya
A Big Thanks to the Trilogy Players! The show was really fabulous – music -singing – dancing – costumes – venue. It was obvious that a lot of work went into the show and that everyone involved had a great time doing it. I think everyone is closer to 16 than their real age. Wayne and Juanita Pasco
Great show! I believe Touch of Gray has become the "Very Best Band" in the valley. They are sooo good that we want to dance to every song they play. – Jim and Marilyn
Wanted you to know that we so enjoyed the show tonight. It was wonderful, entertaining, and full of humor and pleasant feelings. I obviously don’t know or have emails for everyone so please convey to the entire cast, crew and band congratulations on a terrific job. The singing and singers were superb, the band was, as usual, outstanding, the chorus and dancers were on top form, the advertisements were entertaining and amusing, the costumes and props were just lovely, and everything went (at least from an audience perspective) like clockwork - even Murry’s ad-lib was so perfect I wondered if it was rehearsed! Thanks again, and well done on a great show. Manley Perkel
I had to tell you how wonderful this year’s show was…..great energy with the performers….very polished ….highly entertaining … and the singing was outstanding! Kudos to all. Mary Fleming
Fun night! What a talented community! Thanks to players for such a outstanding performance! Trilogy players season is now a “must do” in our neighborhood! Chris Rosen
What a wonderful production! We enjoyed it from first note to last!! Harry and Sue Shoaf
Loved It….Such a FUN performance…..So much talent in Trilogy….”Love Shack” was the perfect way to end the evening!!! Linda Beal
Very entertaining! Well done! Beth Birmingham
Thank you for the wonderful performance by the Trilogy Players. It brought back many fond memories of watching Bandstand on TV many years ago. Great songs, great singing and dancing, and a great Dick Clark who had the original Dick Clark's mannerisms perfect. We appreciate all the hard work and organizing that goes into making these performance so well done. Susan White and Frank Schmidtlein
We thoroughly enjoyed the play. Jay Edwards struck the right tone as Dick Clark with those natty jackets & adult questions to the youngsters. And that great dark toupee. Frosting on the cake so to speak. Now I had some favorite songs because they remind of certain circumstances back in the day. Lyn Eisner singing “Don’t you want somebody to love” by originally Gracie Slick & the Jefferson Airplane was great. Peggy Jacobs did a great job on Bobby McGee & Sweet Dreams. Jim Schram did The Letter & Love Shack with great backup. So many more great songs by Susan Downing, Janet Congdon June, Chuck Charles Harlan, Rick Barrett, Pete June, Jim Losher, Dolly Sokol, Linda Wells & Joanie Drumwright & all the backup singers. The commercials were memorable & cute. The dancing was fun to watch. The sparkly costumes were probably closer to the 70’s than the 60’s. And there was one old guy with his knees & ankles all bandaged up—used to teach math in New Yark I think. Just a fun evening. Oh, and Touch of Gray provided great background—missing Jerry Clements of course. Tin roof. RUSTED. Jerry Lee
I was smiling and laughing the whole time! Well done and such talent!! Kudos!! Jo Ann Schmadeke
Bandstand was so well done. I have to say that Mindy Hubbard deserves huge kudos for what she accomplished. She had a huge task directing 50 some performers, making decisions about everything from costumes to set to props to movement and much more! The performers were flawless, funny and filled with more energy than a high school cheerleading team. Pretty fabulous for 55 year olds and up! I was really impressed, so if you haven't seen it yet, better get there tonight. Oh yes and Fred and Joanne La Monica - oh my heavens what a pair of dancers - next up Dancing With the Stars??!!!!!!! – Connie Martin
The show was wonderful! The entire cast involved us, the audience, by the joy, enthusiasm, and energy you brought to the performance. All of the vocalists and dancers were great! The show moved so well that it seemed to go fast. Marie Crossley
Jack of Diamonds - February 2018
I really enjoyed the play. So many laughs as the acting abilities of the players was incredible. If I am so immersed in a play that I forget where I am, then I feel the actors have scored. This was certainly the case with Jack of Diamonds. Barbara Carter
We very much enjoyed Jack of Diamonds and so appreciate the hard work of this cast! We’re so fortunate to have such talented actors in Trilogy!
Jeff and Saundra Forrest
Both Jane and I enjoyed the, play last night. It was the right play for the right audience. Except for not having the glass of wine during intermission, the venue was excellent. John and Jane Helpap
We want to thank all the cast and crew for all the effort and creativity they put into this hilarious performance. We always look forward to each years performances. We have been there since the inception of the Trilogy Players, and are so proud of how far they have come. Thanks Shirley and Bob Keaster.
CONGRATULATIONS AND THANK YOU! Outstanding job! What a performance by all of you! Everyone was totally in their character. We really enjoyed the play; good story, great lines. Nurse Harper was a star! The new venue is much better; closer to Trilogy and a very nice auditorium.Claudine and Dick Lippert
We thoroughly enjoyed the show. The 'Cop' was a standout! Well done! We also loved the venue.....so close to Trilogy at Vistancia, especially for those of us who find night driving a challenge sometimes. Looking forward to the next production! Henny King
Everyone involved in the production did a fantastic job! The play had a “just right” amount of a little risqué humor combined with age-related references the audience could connect with – e.g., “transitions,” purses filled with various medications, etc. It was a wonderful way to spend an evening – enjoying some solid talent, surrounded by friendly neighbors, and close to home. Looking forward to “Return to Bandstand”! Donna Freeze
We liked the new stage. Took a long time to open first scene. A very good play and job well done by all of you. We laughed and had a very enjoyable evening!! Would have been nice to have a glass of wine at half time. Jon Peterson
Had a great time. Cast was wonderful & I respect all the “lines” they had to memorize! Great actors. Amalia Schwerdtmann
Really enjoyed Jack of Diamonds. Humorous and light. Great job. Also liked the new venue. Closer to Trilogy. Easy parking and exit. Comfortable seats. Do wish they were offset but auditorium is large enough to be able to move for better visual lines. Ellen and Dan McIsaac
Very well done! Ron & I appreciated the hard work & dedication by all involved. We were impressed by the amount of dialog learned so well. We certainly enjoyed the comedy! The convenience of the location was a plus & the theater was comfortable. Looking forward to the March performance! Joyce Goergen
I attended the show with 2 of my neighbors; and all 3 of us thoroughly enjoyed the venue and the show! We are thrilled that we were part of the first audience to see the show in all of America! We can appreciate all of the hard work that the actors, students and crew put into the preparation for last evening and the days to follow. What a wonderful evening we had! Lots of laughs, just wonderful! We had dinner at the Twisted Italian followed by your wonderful show. Both were so close to home; we could not have asked for a nicer evening. Thank you for making our “Girls Night Out” so entertaining! We are already looking forward to the next show! Anne Bierman
We enjoyed it very much. We already recommended it to our neighbors. Well done! Les Sowa
First let me say I loved "Jack of Diamonds". It all got started with the welcome & brief introduction by director, Connie Martin. That was classic & classy. Murry Ginis was brilliant! All the twists and turns required acting parts of many; not just Jack. The sheer volume of script sort of puts to rest the idea that seniors can't remember. Jim Schram was an excellent job of casting and he got as many laughs as anyone could playing Barney. When such a nice guy can be such a jerk, we really don't know him or it was really good acting. How many calories did he consume through the play? Kathy Ginis, without a doubt, was acting. Flora could dismiss anything with her poor memory, but she was a little bit smart about her "glock" and her making money. Maybe it was just "dumb" luck. The costumes certainly were spot on. I'm still laughing. Fantastic Flora! Pat Drapac as Blanche, could it be said?, slept around a lot or at least fell asleep at the most inopportune times. I loved the seen on the floor with nurse Harper. Again, the blue pill references dismissed seniors being too old. Jack & Blanche played it well together. Dolly Sokol as Rose could have been considered the most serious of the group if it hadn't been for her costumes. Some skill was involved with this match. Credit goes to her IT skills, rapid typing skill, business sense, and being so skilled for her "old age". This incredibly character really smoothed out many of the scenes. I loved you Rose. Glen Eisner was a surprise as Mortimer. Here's a man who is sophisticated, coordinated, and smooth playing a "Barney Fife" like cop. This was done incredibly well. Too funny! Great job. Cindy Robbins, playing Nurse Harper, was the most transformed character in the play. This is a secret to keep and a reason to make "Jack of Diamonds" a must see play. It might be said that Nurse Harper cared for Barney right to the end. Nurse Harper was such a ratchet, but her part added greatly. So fun. Bob Downing as Wilf played cards with very little patience (much as I would), but was a character that stirred more serious empathy for his character than the directors might think. It wasn't realized how much people really loved Wilf until he was nearly off the stage. Terry King, last but not least, was a great Policeman. He dramatically switched between believing and not believing until his paranoia about the Canine Strepto Clepto, whatever, scared him out. Not the most showy part, but very necessary. Good job, Terry. This was a fabulous production! Let's also not forget the entire support staff. Thank you all for providing such great entertainment. Paul
We throughly enjoyed your production. The cast and crew should be proud of their accomplishments. As far as the new venue, seats were very comfortable. The shorter distance was a plus. Carole and Paul Scully
I guess a high school campus brings out the youth in you!! The show provided us with delightful laughs, often times at unexpected moments. It was apparent that the actors were having a great time interacting with each other which made the production more convincing. Bob and Millie Carlson
I took my daughter and we had a great time. Lots of belly laughs, everyone did a great job. Barry Hirsch
A short drive, plenty of parking, creative drama, great sound system and professional acting! Carl
I’m telling you that was totally fabulous from start to finish! Lyn Poulsen
Just when I think the Trilogy Players cannot possibly exceed what they have previously done……..they do!! Kudos to the entire Jack of Diamonds cast and crew for providing their audience with an outstanding evening of quality entertainment. It was truly a “laugh a minute.” But beyond just the laughs, Jack of Diamonds was Exhibit A of what a committed group of people can accomplish. A show of this quality doesn’t just happen; it comes about only as a result of a dedication and a tireless work ethic on the part of many. The attention to detail in Jack of Diamonds was amazing. I tip my hat to all of you. And to the director, Connie King – you deserve a very special kudos. Your vision and expertise drove this production to the highest level. Very, very well done everyone; and thank you!! Craig Ullery
The actors certainly lived up to their bios. It was a lot of laughs and entertainment. Had a great time. George and Jan Caruso
I just wanted to send a note of "Congrats" to the Director and Cast. I loved the show! It was so entertaining! Of course, Murry & Kathy are stars! It was also really wonderful to see the star power of Cindy, Jim and Bob. I'm not sure if I've seen Dolly, Pat, Terry & Glen in other productions, but I'm certainly glad to have seen their performance in this show! The entire cast was wonderful! Brava & Bravo!! Lavarez Harris
I thought the play was awesome...all the actors were great! My favorite was nurse Hatchet!!!!! Marvin Hood
We really enjoyed the play and the new location. All of the actors played their parts so well. You kept me laughing. Thanks for a wonderful evening! Shelly Chase
Really like the new venue and the fact that it is close and easy to park. The show was hilarious and everyone in the cast was perfect for their part. We had a group of 14, so we may have drowned out a few lines with our laughter. Keep up the great work. Richard & Judy Farrah
Great job by all involved. We really enjoyed the play and thought that all of the cast did a great a terrific job. Despite the loads of dialog that the cast had to learn I didn’t hear a single hesitation in delivery which is really quite amazing.
Well done! Doug Gilmore
As always we thoroughly enjoyed last night’s performance. It’s wonderful that the group puts these on for the enjoyment of our fabulous community so thanks again and definitely keep up the great work. We’re now anxiously awaiting the musical in March! Tom Malone
Thank you all for continuing to surprise & delight us all with great theatre. This was so funny & flowed so well, plus we really enjoyed the interim music.
Keep it coming! Thank you. Debbi Powell
Really enjoyed the play! We really have some great talent in Trilogy! Looking forward to the next production. Janet O'Meara
Love the new venue. Glad to see a few empty seats so that you can move around for better view, if needed. I am now a big fan of playwrights; Marcia Kash & Douglas E. Hughes and the parts they write for senior adults! Best play I’ve seen yet by Trilogy Players! Pam Sellers
Loved the play! Everyone’s performance was amazing...well delivered lines, timing on the jokes was good and funny, and the set and props were nicely done. I found the play funny, heart warming and professional executed.
The new location was great! Lovely campus, good lighting and sound for the stage, very comfortable seating and so very convenient!
Thank you for a delightful evening; great watching friends and neighbors having fun on stage! Glenna Hale
We really liked the play. This was the first time that we had gone to a Trilogy play and we were not disappointed. Great acting and set.We are looking forward to the next one. Danna Schott
Loved Jack of Diamonds - it brought Trilogy Players to a whole new level. Murray hit it out of the ballpark. Also loved the new venue. I hope it’s permanent. Deb Hunter
Jack of Diamonds was fabulous from start to finish. What an amazing ensemble of actors! Bruce and I laughed from the opening lines to the close. This play was such a fun choice with its twists and turns! So much rings so true at our age and don't we all love to laugh at where we are in life! We CANNOT believe all the lines that each actor had to remember. And, the timing and the facial expressions - WOW! Such talent - we know it cannot be easy, but every actor appeared to be having such fun on stage. We in the audience connected with it all and laughed and laughed. Thank you to the actors, the directors and the stage crew for providing your community with a evening of entertainment, laughter, and excellence - it is greatly appreciated! Cynthia and Bruce Shankman
The play was quite funny indeed! Effward really made the whole performance very funny. Mary G.

Congratulations to all.....we had a great time and enjoyed the performance. Jim and Dottie
Took me back to my youth. Very well done. Music was relevant and progression good. I drew #15 in the draft so remember that time well. Overall a great job! Dave Ohme
A couple of girlfriends and I attended the play on Friday night and we had a delightful time! I especially enjoyed all of the 'play on words' and the comedy involved! The jokes were delivered flawlessly (as far as we could tell!) and were all in good taste. I enjoyed Stu as the streaker!! Linda Heining did a superb job with her seduction dance with "Al" ~ so realistic!! We got a kick out of the 'couch prop' and all the times it came in and out of a scene! This was a great show to put on to the Trilogy audience, we could totally relate to each scene! Thank you for the wonderful show and entertaining evening out! Sherry Holleman
The play was so enjoyable, I think we all related to something. The "soldier boy" scene was especially touching for me as I had to say goodbye to my Marine for a while. You all looked like you had fun performing which made the audience enjoy it all the more. Susan Menghini
This was one of our favorite shows, taking us back down memory lane. I think everyone did really well, including Touch of Gray, but Stu was his expressive, funny, wonderful self. Great job! Cayce and Debbie Shannon
Once again a masterful overall performance. The cast, music and storyline was great and at times evoked manymemories of the past – both good and well some others! Kudos and job well done to everyone involved. Keep up the great work and we can hardly wait for next year. Tom Malone
Ron & I enjoyed the performance Sat night. Love to see “our” players in action. Keep up the good work! Joyce Goergen
The play was very well put together and the talent was excellent. The next time we would like to see Stu in the Full Monty. Well done! Carol and George Arce
Thank you for a fun evening. I think the best part was seeing how much the cast appeared to enjoy themselves. After all, isn’t that what Trilogy is all about. Continue to have fun and offer shows that the audience can relate to in terms of its music. I think that makes a difference. Betty Scharfman
Really, really enjoyed this show. It was a "blast from the past". My compliments to all actors. What a great bunch of talented folks!! Barb & Bob Caskill
Kudos to the entire cast. What a talented group and so many fun surprises! We particularly loved the parts that were tailor-made for the Trilogy audience. We felt we were, in a way part of the show. We totally appreciate the time and effort such a performance requires. Thanks to the cast and the many workers it required to put on such a show! Jo-Ellen and Marty Hirsch
What a fun, wonderful play. And as usual we were so impressed with everyone's talent. How lucky are we to live in a beautiful community and have such gifted folks to entertain us. Our hats are off to all the "behind the scenes folks" as well, and of course to Touch of Gray for their music. Pat & Karen Ryan
I liked that the play was personal, all about us, at Trilogy & our generation. Thank you for all your hard work to make our lives more enjoyable. Debbi and Bob Powell
We loved every single part of the play. It was so creative! I am just so amazed at the incredible talent we have in our community! We cannot wait to see the next show. Rumor has it it will be about the HOA rules here. That should be interesting for sure! I know what an incredible amount of time to write and produce this play and the amount of rehearsing that went into it. We would like to thank the entire cast for the amount of time they took out of their lives to make this night such a fabulous walk down memory lane and reminding us what a great community we are so fortunate to be part of! Jacquie and Bob Vogle

Loved the play! We went with 4 other couples and we all thoroughly enjoyed it. You all looked like you were having fun up there on the stage also – great job. Thanks for the entertainment! Jackie
That play was SO funny. All the actors played their roles to a T. Can't wait for the musical. I have a shirt with a big "Reel Um Inn" logo on it. It is an actual lodge on Lake of the Woods in Canada that I fish at. Dave Ohme
We had a great time and really enjoyed the play. You are all so good and we feel very fortunate to have such a talented group in Trilogy that loves entertaining us.
Can't wait for the next one, see you then. The Hedlunds

We thoroughly enjoyed our evening at the Trilogy Players latest play. We still giggle and laugh out loud as we reminisce about the story, wonderful cast and whole evening at Peoria Theater Works. The theater was amazing-great seats and viewing for everyone. Thank you for the light-hearted comedy! Pauline and Eriks Gross, Suzann and Ray Harriot, Fran and Keith Wellington
The production was fab, Very enjoyable, Could hear dialogue perfectly, Laughed a lot, Great job. Cheryl Lyons
Great Play and outstanding performances by the actors. Looking forward to the next play. Mike and Jan Wittmann
Facing the "Farce"! This was our first experience at the Peoria theater. Venue was impressive as was the play! Staging, direction, acting superior with "Farce". Actors conveyed convincing belief in their roles and they truly complimented each other. Their enjoyment became our enjoyment - great for a comedy. Production conveyed professional direction as lines and action were clearly conveyed. Several times the laughter was longer than anticipated and sometimes speaking not clearly understood because of being crowded by the laughter. I could continue but I've been told to "Shut up and go fishing!" Bob Carlson
Bob & I loved it all, laughed a lot. You all are amazing actors. How do you remember all those lines? I forget my home address! Hope you keep putting on these shows forever & then some.
Debbi & Bob Powell

All those hours rehearsing your dance routines. Know that we will be attending all your productions and will pass the word to all the “newcomers “ we encounter. Thank you for giving Trilogy a wonderful evening of song, dance, and laughter. Glenda & Tom McNichols

Tamara

Mary G.
Talkin Bout My Generation - March 2017
Judy and I really enjoyed the show and everyone involved. This was our first show since moving into Trilogy and we are looking forward to seeing more. Richard & Judy Farrah
We were totally impressed with the entire production! Entertaining and funny! Everyone should be congratulated for an outstanding presentation. It brought back a lot of memories. Tony Storey

Thank YOU !!! You are simply the best. We absolutely laughed our you-know-whats off throughout the entire performance. I was wishing the seats had seat belts as I thought for certain my husband was going to fall right out on the floor he was laughing so hard. Please know that we appreciate all the many hours spent on every level of the performance. We know it takes far more effort than imaginable. People are still talking about it, sharing their favorite lines, eliciting continued laughter. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you! Patty and Tom Loder
We enjoyed the play very much – so very funny! Loved it! We appreciated all of the hard work by all of the cast to present this to us! Will be ready to attend further works by the Trilogy Players. Ron & Joyce Goergen

I can't say enough about each cast member! The show was BIG FUN all credited to the excellent performances of the very talented Cast, Director and Crew!!! There were several great moments and one liners in the show (unfortunately, too many to mention in this note). However, I must say that Murray's "Trilogy" reference was hilarious!! Thanks for an enjoyable evening!!
Lavarez Harris.
Fantastic! Feel you should do another weekend of Rumors so I can get all my friends to see it and those that missed your wonderful "laugh therapy". It was good for the soul! I'm working with a Women's Life Ministry group and wish I could have had all 80 plus of them there to see this. You had to have a tremendous amount of fun getting ready for Rumors, because your audience had a tremendous amount of fun watching you! I expect to hear about all of you next on Broadway!!! Stay strong and continue your passion and wonderful performances. Audrey Hanks
Whew, what an evening. My jaw was sore from laughing so often. Wonderful casting; great adaption to the year 2016 of a 30 year old Neil Simon play. Not sure why therapist changed his kitchen apron every time he left and returned to stage. Everyone did great job !!!! Had to repress my lawyer logic as the group panicked with the police officer (best part was when he botched his line; brought the house down !!!) since only person with actual knowledge of "Charlie" was Trilogy's own "Bob" who saw the results of 1st shot and was present for 2nd firing. Everyone else placed themselves in jeopardy by engaging in the farce. Had to disconnect my brain for that part so I could enjoy the chaos. Will be tough to top the comedy next year. Glenn Hagen
The play was good...one of my favorites. The acting was good. The sets get better each show. The audience loved it. Will Richard
Thank you and the Trilogy Players Company for two wonderful evenings. We will make sure all will get the word about our talented neighbors. John and Edie
I want to congratulate you and the rest of the cast for a great show last night. A thoroughly enjoyable show. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed it. You all did a great job. Bruce Maynard

Best production yet. Gene Todd
Thanks you for the great directing, acting, and show. It was funny and well done. Keep up the good work. The Shannons
Thank you! We were still laughing and talking about the play over breakfast. It was fun, funny, and great to see such talented actors, most of whom describe themselves as amateurs. Sandy Beheyt
Really had a fun time watching the performance last night. The cast was exceptional and we wondered who made that wonderful set! Delightful entertainment. Thank you Trilogy Players! Diane Anderson
Thoroughly enjoyed last night! Very talented people. Jan Wittmann

February 2016 A Night at the Oscars
The event was wonderful! Janet June and Jerry Clements singing "The Prayer" brought tears to our eyes. It was beautiful and moving...a perfect ending to a perfect performance by the talented Trilogy Players! Arnold and Peggy Vogel
A wonderful evening of music, beautiful costumers, and wonderful players/singers. It is easy to see they love what they are doing. My favorite number was "Georgy Girl." Their harmony was spot on. Bertina Wright
Thanks for a marvelous couple of hours! Highlight performers, for us were Janet June, Jerry Clements, Louis Massetti. Highlight song ... "The Prayer" (of course!). Bill Cushing and Jane Kelso
I love the song " The Prayer". The song was sung so beautifully that it brought tears to my eyes. What a talent! What a gift to all of us! Christine Luban
This was our first experience with the Trilogy Players and what a fabulous experience that was! We did not know that there was such talent at Trilogy. Thank you and congratulations to all of you for an outstanding performance. Each and every one of you is a great artist and the whole ensemble was topnotch. Our two favorite numbers were Love is a Many Splendored Thing by Jo-Ann O'Beirne and The Prayer by Jerry Clements and Janet June. Again thank you for a delightful afternoon. Dick and Claudine Lippert
The production was fantastic and raved about. Everyone did a fabulous job, performers, presenters and back up personnel. Thank you so much for all you do for our community and making it such a fun and enjoyable event. Favorite songs were sung by Louie, he has such an amazing voice but everyone was great also. Cheryl Lyons
No surprise here. The Prayer with Jerry and Janet. Broadway quality. Dan Wick
It's amazing the amount of talent we have in Trilogy. Everyone did a wonderful job and was an enjoyable evening. Dave Ohme
I throughly enjoyed the evening. The talent in our community is amazing. Very well done Trilogy Players. I enjoyed the dancers (Thoroughly Modern Millie), the High Hopes kids even when Glen pop the balloon, presenters humor ( Laurel and Hardy) and the final song by Jerry and Janet. Mae West was very classy. Dave Folsom
14 of our friends dressed up & attended Thursday, the second night of the production. Loved the performance! Debbi Powell
Helen & I enjoyed the evening very much & you too. Our favorite songs were “Our Prayer” & “Amore.” We plan to go your next play in April & bring a third guest. You have a great group. Don & Helen McMillian
Jack and I attended the Sunday matinee yesterday. We really couldn't choose a favorite anything! The meet and greet in the lobby including photos with the Oscar and celebrities was special! The intros before each number were informative and amusing when meant to be. Singers and dancers could be considered professionals! (I think a few actually are.) What an amazing production! Kudos to all who made it happen! Jack & Donna Chiurazzi
Trolley Song ensemble: amazing ability to go from unison into harmony, dead on. Is barbershop quartet next? Wow. Lyn Eisner, THE Pocahontas of Trilogy, well done. Set design, set the mood perfectly for each Oscar winner. Speechless. How does Jerry Clements do it, what talent. A perfect Baritone who demonstrated comfort as a classic Tenor with the highlight of the evening, his performance with Janet June in "The Prayer". Glenn Hagen
I was delighted with the Trilogy Oscars and look forward to many more shows. I so enjoy seeing friends and friends-of-friends (that's the ones I don't know!) performing, and once the real Johnny Mathis and others could not be with us, the Trilogy replacements were super. Janet Levy
Just wanted to let you know we enjoyed the show and all the talent that we have here in Trilogy. Simply amazing!! Some talent really jumps out at you, for instance, Lou Masseti is so outstanding with that unique voice that sounds so much like Johnny Mathis! Wow! He should have pursued a career in singing when he was younger, incredible talent!! Thank you again for a wonderful show! Kudos to everyone !! Joanne Rolf
The night at the “Night at the Oscars” was a wonderful night for Edie and me. We have attended other Trilogy player events in the past and as result, we could apparent how much the entertainers (our neighbors) have developed their various skills from one performance to the other over the years. Their professionalism was exemplary. Kudos to the production staff and especially director, Mike O’Bierne. There were a number of performances that were especially enjoyable. The Troubadours; Jim Losher singing “Old Black Magic,” and of course Jerry Clements and Janet June singing “The Prayer”. And it goes without saying, you can’t beat a hug from May West. Thanks again to all who put this wonderful event together. John and Edie
My husband and I enjoyed the Friday night performance and consider it to have been a great success. We were pleasantly surprised to see the huge number of talented Trilogy participants. Thanks for a great show! Kathy Diprizio.
Thank you, once again, Trilogy Players for providing a delightful entertainment event for us. So many memories came back to mind as I listened to the songs being song and the dances being performed. First date at the movie "Breakfast at Tiffany's," as Moon River was song, etc. etc. Difficult to say my favorite number, but I have always loved "Over the Rainbow," and the ladies performed it beautifully. The song that got me singing was "Raindrops Keep Falling on My Head." So much talent of all varieties in our wonderful Trilogy neighborhood. Lori Brandman
Can't remember when I've enjoyed an afternoon more! FAVORITE SONGS: The Prayer. Nobody Does It Better. Unchained Melody. SING-ALONG: Amore. DANCE FAVORITE: Thoroughly Modern Millie
COSTUMES: They were ALL terrific! BEST "INTRODUCERS": Laurel & Hardy. The backgrounds were so perfectly matched to the song. My last name is Bogart & it was fun being interviewed by Humphrey himself. I enjoyed every minute...THANK YOU ALL! Nola Bogart
Just loved it. So much wonderful talent in the Trilogy family. Pat Asta
Thank you for an enjoyable evening and congratulations to all for an outstanding performance. Bravo! Pat Walsh
Well done! Especially loved It's Easy and The Prayer...wow! Renee Melton
This performance of the Oscar's was spectacular! A girlfriend and I attended and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, singing along to old favorites like Moon River, Take my Breath Away, and I've Got You Under my Kkin. The ushers were especially helpful and informative as we looked for our seats. We felt it helped to have some of the performers and some activity going on in the lobby prior to the show as then it was not so awkward to just be standing around waiting for the performance to begin (especially if you were new to the community and did not know many people to stand around and talk with). Your ending number, The Prayer, was the 'icing on the cake' ~ gave us goosebumps!!! Sherry Holleman and Jodi Allen
Great show and lots of fun. Shirley Keaster
I thoroughly enjoyed the evening, Everyone did a fantastic job. I was not aware of the talent we have in my community. Take My Breath Away was my favorite number. I loved the dances. Thanks for the wonderful production. Sunita Jain
It was a fabulous show. We loved it! Thanks for all you do! Susan & Larry DiGiovanni
April 2014: Leading Ladies
I really enjoyed last night's performance. Thank you for the great seats and a wonderful evening. Cheryl Bishop
I really did not want to go to this show on Monday night as it conflicted with the basketball game but that would have been a mistake. What a hoot! We haven’t laughed so hard in years. And everyone commented on how professional the acting and the sets were; certainly on par with independent productions in large centres.
Well done! Brian Devenish
Fantastic show. We loved it. We really do have so much talent in Trilogy. Jill Wiersma
We loved "Leading Ladies!" The actors did an amazing job. I can't remember the last time we laughed so much! We can't wait for the next show!! Barbara & Joe Bregman
Trilogy Players always give us the greatest entertainment and for a wonderful value. Leading Ladies was hilarious. If we didn’t know our friends and neighbors up there on stage, this could have been taken as a semi-professional acting company. Well done to the entire cast and crew – it is evident that many, many hours of hard work go into these plays. Keep them coming. Dolores Thain
“Leading Ladies” is really funny. Lots of huge laughs. And the COSTUMES WERE OUT OF THIS WORLD! Adrien Spencer
The play was great!!!! Totally enjoyed it. Everyone did so well. :) I can't believe how they all remember their lines. Oh my goodnees, takes a lot of time practicing I am sure. Thank you all for a fun afternoon. Taudy Mabee
We loved it! I am continually amazed at the talent here in Trilogy and I look forward to many more productions. Thanks, Patty Carlson
Great show from beginning to the end!!! Sooooo funny. Can't wait for the next season to start. Shelly Chase
Leading Ladies was the most enjoyable, hilarious play we have seen in many years. We laughed more than we have laughed in ages. The acting was superb! You would think the actors were professionals! The settings and the costumes were excellent. All in all it was a great afternoon and we left feeling buoyant from laughing and having such a great time!. Thank you for all the work involved to entertain us with such a marvelous play. Kathy and Paul DeBeer
The show was excellent and I haven't laughed that hard in awhile. Please keep me on your email list for future programs. Thank you. Aleta
Just an additional note in writing,to convey once again, how totally outstanding all of the cast performed! It was most enjoyable and do hope you all continue to repeat additional performances once again next season! Looking forward to coming back in December! Lydia Friedman
I saw Leading Ladies tonight. It was hilarious! All the actors were wonderful, and "Stephanie" was incredible. Loved all the costumes. Thanks again for changing my tickets. Ellen Sommers
The show last night was fantastic. I don’t know if famous people could have done it any better. Dick Herrmann
THE BEST............YOU GUYS ARE AS GOOD AS IT GETS. BOB & SHIRLEY KEASTER
I thought it was great. I giggled through it all. I thought the actors did a remarkable job. Looking forward to next season. Jo Ann Schmadeke
Man, that was a good one! Thanks! Manley Perkel
i had the most enjoyable afternoon Thursday at the final presentation of leading ladies. i loved the play and everyone in it. they all did a fantastic job. laughed so hard i could not control myself. the new venue is wonderful easy to get to easy to park and easy to leave. the acoustics are excellent and every seat is a good one. so sad for anyone who missed it
thank you so much for all you do. cheryl lyons
Loved it!!!! Laughed so hard!!!! Thanks to the trilogy players for all their hard work! Sue Affleck
We thoroughly enjoyed and my jaws were tired from laughing. Everyone did a great job and should be very proud of yourselves. Thanks again, Elaine & Marty Hertz
The show was great! Bob Downing stole the show with all his expressions and antics. At the performance we attended, there was a scene where he was left sitting on the couch by himself (apparently waiting for the other actors to come on stage). He pulled off the mistake by adlibbing and making funny faces until the others came on stage. Good job Bob!!
Also want to give Susan Webster and Dan Meiller congratulations on their performances.......outstanding job in memorizing all those lines! Looking forward to the next show. Joanie and Butch
I have attended every production the Trilogy Players had done, and would like to commend you all for continuing to improve with each and every show. This last one, "Leading Ladies," was really great. It's going to be hard to top this last show. Keep up the good work everyone - from cast members, to sound crew, to stage hands, to directors, etc. Bertina Wright
Loved it? More! Bob & Debbi Powell
To everyone involved – once again a stellar effort! We really enjoyed the production and the new venue is fabulous for presentations/productions of this kind. Best of luck in the future and please keep up the great work.
Tom & Mariette Malone
We thought it was great! Funny, well-delivered. You guys have some talented actors out there. Gary Hale
First of all, I love live theater and see many plays in New York and Chicago. This was the first Trilogy Players production that I have seen.....and I absolutely LOVED it!!! I haven't laughed so hard in a long time. The theater really lent itself to this type of play and the cast was wonderful and were obviously enjoying themselves. Patricia Peters
Four of us attended the play on Tuesday and we all had a wonderful time. Each of the characters in the play did a wonderful job entertaining us. Stephanie's impromptu ad libbing was a hoot! We are very blessed to have such talented actors and actresses in our midst. Bravo! We look forward to the next season of entertainment! Jill Ehlen
We thoroughly enjoyed the evening; it was a great production! Marty & Tom Holler
I enjoyed the show so much I saw it again (2 nights in a row). Took my staff the second night. The actors were perfect in the roles they played. Each of them worked so well together. The sets/lighting and costumes were excellent. The costumes were great and Stephanie's costumes had to be a challenge. Stephanie was incredible. I really could not find fault with anything in the play. There are so many serious issues in the world and in a lot of our lives that it was so refreshing just to sit back for a couple of hours and laugh. I hope your group will be doing more comedy. Don't we miss I Love Lucy - the Carol Burnett Show - Bob Newhart - Red Skelton - Bob Hope, etc. Make us laugh Trilogy Players! Audrey Hanks
We’ve attended a lot of theater, all over the world. Because I’m a musician, I typically prefer musicals, however, Leading Ladies made me laugh so hard that my stomach muscles hurt. I compliment the 8 in the cast, they were outstanding. I’m impressed at the diligence required to memorize the thousands of lines in this productions, their incredibly humorous delivery and of course the set-builders and the stage hands / Manager. I don’t have enough superlatives to give adequate credit to this productions. Bravo!. Richard Brown
Leading Ladies was EXCELLENT. We are looking forward to getting season tickets next year. Susan DiGiovanni
Excellent casting, costumes, and set design. Music for background may have been appropriate but of very poor quality and added nothing. The initial set change after the opening of the play took far too long and diminished the "buzz" of getting into the play. As a volunteer theatre group, still rates an "A" with me. Glenn Hagen
January 2015 Palisades Park to Woodstock
Had a wonderful time. The show brought back a lot of memories. You are all to be commended! Keep up the wonderful work! Don and Linda Beardsworth
What an opening night performance!!! ...You have created a score that might be used by community theater groups nationally. Last night's performance exceeded your goal of giving the audience a chance to REFLECT as well as HAVE FUN. Your direction, the music, choreography, and costume design, all made this Trilogy production a SMASH. The Browers had so much fun!
Your show gave us time, again, TO REFLECT on so many of the important years of OUR life.Thank you and the cast for making Opening night so exciting.
Dottie and Clayt Brower
We absolutely loved the whole thing! It was brilliantly written and was perfect for our age groups at Trilogy! The music selections were awesome and many had tears in their eyes at the Green Beret scene. Well done! Just can't believe all the talent at Trilogy and the effort given to make it a fun night for everyone. This was the best one yet! Thanks so much!!! Denver and Jo Ann Schmadtke
We absolutely enjoyed the show - the performances were all terrific. Well done.
I want to congratulate you on a wonderful show and also mention a little interesting personal history with regard to one of the artists you mentioned on stage as part of the “British Invasion” - the first one whose music was performed last night. I am, of course, talking about Manfred Mann. Although he eventually came to be a British artist (and it is true his big hits were made while in England), did you know that Manfred Mann was originally Manfred Lubowitz and he was born in South Africa? Born in 1940 he moved to England in 1961. Now for the interesting part. He lived in Pembroke Street, Johannesburg, the same street as my family did and his home in Johannesburg was about five houses down from ours. I did not know him or meet him that I can recall (he was a lot older than I was) although he did live right next door to good friends of ours that we visited all the time, so it is possible I may have encountered him on one of our visits - everyone seemed to know lots of folks in our neighborhood. Of course, at that time he was not yet a star. Some years later, when I was in my late teens/early twenties, still living at home (as was the custom in South Africa), and Manfred Mann was by then a big star and had many hits, I would often see his father walking up the street past our house on the way to catch the bus a few blocks away. I remember a couple of times in particular, we saw him coming and I played Manfred’s record, “Do Wa Diddy Diddy” - the same that was sung last night at the show - with the volume turned up full blast, high enough that it carried through our living room and into the street, in order that the elderly Mr. Lubowitz could hear it. I have fond memories of us watching him stop dead in his tracks in the middle of the road, listening to his son’s song, looking around to see where the music was coming from. He must have been filled with pride. He was by then an elderly, slow moving man (or so it seemed to me), and I admit doing this to him was a little rascally and childish but loads of fun at the time for me and my friends!
Just another way I travelled down memory lane at your show last night. Thank you! Manley Perkel
I was very impressed and in awe of the show. The staging and blocking was done very well. The talent was wonderful and everyone looked as though they were having a good time. Michael Adelmann
Thanks to all you Trilogy Players for a most enjoyable Friday evening. Seats and Sound was GREAT. The professionalism and talent was proof that a lot of hard work went into this production. THANKS again. Mary Jacoby

Thanks for telling us about the plays that the Trilogy Players put on each year. We have been and will continue to be fans! We loved Palisades Park to Woodstock, and are amazed how talented all of the residents in Trilogy are. What fun you must all have in your get-togethers, rehearsals, etc. We we have our tickets for Leading Ladies, and can’t wait to see it. Terrific job and hats off to all of you talented people! Barb & Bob Munter
Felt like we had just attended a large neighborhood party ... what energy!
Best of show? Hands down, "Yesterday" by Janet June. Surely must be a ringer! Thanks for the memories ... Bill Cushing
Fabulous and more fabulous! This was the BEST play the Trilogy Players have done so far (I haven’t missed one of them). All of you just keep getting better and better. Great music which encouraged audience participation. Kudos to the ENTIRE cast & crew. The Peoria Performing Center for the Arts was and is the perfect venue to host your plays – you added a whole new level to your theater group. I’m thrilled to live in Trilogy and be able to attend your plays. Congratulations to all – keep up the good work. Dolores Thain
Really enjoyed the show, everybody did such a wonderful job, very happy to be in a wonderful community with such good talent and great people. The venue was very nice too, look forward to the next show in April.
Maggie Lederer
The show was a blast. We had a lot of fun and loved the music. Congratulations to Craig and all the performers. Bravo !!!!!!!!!! Ray and Lil Goodman
We really enjoyed the show. Being in a professional theatre with a good sound system and lights made it so much better. We are in awe of all the wonderful talent at Trilogy. Bravo! Lynn Friedman
Wonderful and most entertaining production that reminded the audience of the strong emotions and music that accompanied the events of the '60's from both sides of the issues. Congratulations to Craig Ullery for his outstanding job of writing, and directing, "at Palisades Park to Woodstock". The "Green Berets" scene with Lou Fedak and the child portraying John Kennedy saluting will be remember for a long time. The new facility certainly added to the enjoyment of the play. It is just remarkable of the talent that resides within our community.
John Helpap
So many musical minutes relived and enjoyed, as well as some of our important moments in history revisited. Bertina Wright
Palisades to Woodstock was FANTASTIC. We enjoyed every minute of it and are so glad we have already bought tickets for the Leading Ladies! The night was so much fun and we ended by dancing in the aisles! Great performances by all. Susan DiGiovanni

I sang, laughed, wiped a tear or two and had great fun! So many talented & groovy people in Trilogy, we are blessed. The show had great pacing & was interspersed with the right combinations. I was taken back to those times which I miss & others I don't. We could hear & see everything on stage. The lighting was right on. The venue is perfect so take that Shea. Farrrr Out! Do it again.
Debbi Powell
We had a great time and thought the production was very fun!! I am impressed that it was an original which seems to be so much more work to do from scratch!! The touches like the TV clips were great and the costumes were so fun too. Great job by all!! Teresa Snoozy
Very entertaining and exceptionally well done. It’s a great sense of pride for us to see our friends and neighbours working so hard to provide us with such great entertainment. We are so blessed to have such talented neighbors in Trilogy. Theater Works at Peoria Center for the Performing Arts is a great venue. Thank you and the Trilogy players for a very enjoyable, fun-filled evening. We are looking forward to the next production, "Leading Ladies". Judy & Gary Citron

Bravo and Brava! Judy and Don Johnson
We had a ball last night.. We all appreciate the time and effort that goes into these productions. Cheryl Bishop
The music was wonderful, bringing back powerful memories. The theater is delightful, with no bad seats. We were in the next to back row, and could clearly see everything. While the theater is away from Trilogy, it allowed us to have a nice dinner out and still see the show. Parking was not an issue. It was a successful opening show. Great job to everyone involved. Jim Chappell
April 2014 - Viva Las Vegas

My wife and I are new to Trilogy having recently moved here from the Bay Area. This was our first Trilogy Players play and we were absolutely amazed at the quality of the production. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. When we lived in California we had season tickets to the Lesher Theater's series, and your production of Lend Me a Tenor was as good or better as anything we experienced at Lesher. Congratulations on a marvelous production! Rick & Paige Barrett
